Day 2

We have arrived!  It was a long drive, but we stayed in Boise overnight with some friends and it helped to break up the trip a little.  

The last two hours of the drive are breathtaking!  You go over the Cascade mountains onto the Snoqualmie Pass.  It is such a beautiful part of land. There were huge granite mountains covered in pines from head to toe.  I couln't believe how huge the pine trees were.  We must have passed a dozen small runoff waterfalls along the road.  

Then we came to this...Snoqualmie Falls.

Little Jack didn't enjoy it as much as us because the spray from the waterfall was so cold, but it was a beautiful stop and gave us a chance to stretch our legs.  Our apartment is only about 25 minutes from the falls.  There are so many things to see in Seattle that I'm not sure we will head back up there again.  We'll see.

So far we love it here.  It is so green and hilly.  Jack and Griff have settled right in.  They were so good in the car.  At least we are together as a family and can start having a great summer!
